Fire Safety Day at the Clarence Hollow Farmers' Market

This annual event allows market visitors to speak directly and personally with local volunteer fire fighters about your safety questions/concerns. You can also learn about volunteering for the fire department and it's importance to the community.
For our 2013 event, the Clarence Volunteer Fire Department will have several pieces of safety equipment on hand, including their ladder truck. Families can visit the Fire Department's Information Tent, to pick up fire safety information, instructions on how to operate a fire extinguisher, the "Stop, Drop and Roll" technique and kids can get their own fire fighter hat!
This is a great educational and fun event for the kids, as they are able to see the fire trucks and other safety apparatus up close. We encourage you to bring the whole family!
